The Purchase Coordinator will manage the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, goods, and services. This role involves vendor management, maintaining procurement records, and coordinating with internal teams to meet the organization’s operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of goods and services.
Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Track and monitor delivery schedules and resolve any issues related to delays or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.
Coordinate with departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
Negotiate terms and contracts with vendors to achieve favorable outcomes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in M.Tech/EEE, or Diploma in Industrial Automation.
Proven experience in a similar procurement or supply chain role.
Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
