Role Purpose:
The Commercial Territory Manager will be responsible for driving retail business growth and country operations across Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar, with full P&L accountability. This leadership role focuses on achieving annual revenue, profitability, and market share targets while ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment with corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the full P&L for the Lower Gulf region, ensuring delivery of annual budgets, sales targets, and profitability objectives.
Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
Conduct market analysis (trends, competitors, consumer behavior) to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Oversee day-to-day retail operations, including stores, administration, and related activities, ensuring efficiency and brand compliance.
Ensure adherence to brand standards, SOPs, and local regulations in all markets.
Optimize inventory management, supply chain, and merchandising to maximize sell-through rates and minimize stockouts.
Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team (sales, operations, marketing) to achieve performance targets.
Foster a high-performance culture through clear KPIs, continuous training, and accountability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, partners, and government bodies.
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to enhance profitability and market penetration.
Identify and execute expansion opportunities to drive business growth.
Lead localized marketing initiatives and promotions tailored to regional preferences and market demands.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
EBITDA and net profitability targets.
Market share expansion in the Lower Gulf region.
Retail sell-out rates and inventory turnover efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
8+ years in commercial/territory management, preferably in Fashion and Sports Retail.
Proven track record in P&L management and multi-country operations.
Strong background in retail management and leading teams.
Analytical:
Financial modeling, market data interpretation, and strategic planning.
Negotiation & Stakeholder Management:
Ability to build and maintain key relationships.
Language:
Fluency in English;
Arabic is a plus.
