Position: Commercial Refrigeration – Technician / Team lead / Service engineer
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide a team of refrigeration technicians to ensure efficient and safe execution of maintenance and repair tasks on complex commercial refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate refrigeration system failures, applying advanced technical knowledge to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all refrigeration equipment to minimize downtime and extend operational lifespan.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental standards, including proper handling of refrigerants and hazardous materials.
Qualifications
- Must possess a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong theoretical foundation.
- Hold a valid EPA Section 608 Universal Certification, signifying expertise in refrigerant handling and regulations.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in commercial refrigeration, with a proven track record of complex system troubleshooting.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting complex mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
