Responsible for driving revenue growth, protecting margin, and strengthening customer partnerships while ensuring commercial alignment with operational capabilities. The role oversees pricing strategy, contract management, client negotiations, and business performance monitoring to ensure sustainable and profitable expansion. Play a critical role in balancing customer expectations with operational feasibility, ensuring that new business wins translate into successful execution. The position works closely with Operations, Finance, and HR to support scaling initiatives, optimize cost structures, and enhance commercial performance across all accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and margin improvement across all.
  • Identify new business opportunities, upselling, and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Support business expansion initiatives and new project implementations.
  • Lead pricing strategy and commercial negotiations.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and revenue forecasting processes.
  • Monitor and drive company revenue per pallet by optimizing pricing strategies, improving space utilization, and maximizing warehouse capacity.
  • Work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure efficient pallet management and profitability across storage and distribution services.
  • Analyze revenue trends, customer volumes, and pallet utilization to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Develop commercial strategies to increase revenue per pallet through value-added services, pricing optimization, and improved customer mix.

Client Relationship Management

  • Represent company at industry events and client meetings.
  • Act as the primary commercial point of contact for key accounts. Prepares and conducts training for new hires and current staff for all safety and security related topics.
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and structured review meetings.
  • Resolve commercial disputes and escalations in coordination with Operations

Pricing & Contract Management

  • Develop pricing models aligned with operational cost structures and profitability targets.
  • Review and approve commercial proposals and quotations.
  • Ensure all contracts reflect agreed service scope, SLAs, and commercial terms.
  • Monitor contract compliance and identify revenue leakage risks.

Financial Performance & Margin Control

  • Monitor account-level profitability and performance metrics.
  • Analyze revenue vs. cost trends and recommend corrective actions where required.
  • Work closely with Finance to validate billing accuracy and revenue recognition.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising service quality.

Cross- Functional Collaboration

  • Align closely with Operations to ensure commercial commitments are operationally feasible.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Vendors on commercial implications impacting service delivery.
  • Support implementation of new clients and projects from a commercial standpoint.
  • Customer contract management including revenue rate increase, improve customer value & maintain customer retention and eventually the customer lifecycle.

Reporting & Governance

  • Prepare and present commercial performance reports to senior management.
  • Track KPIs including revenue growth, margin performance, contract renewals, and client retention.
  • Ensure commercial processes comply with company policies and governance standards.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor commercial executives or coordinators.
  • Identify and Onboard Grade A Clients and strategic partnerships.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and performance discipline.
  • Support capability building within the commercial function.
  • Develop Sales and Customer Service Team.

Marketing

  • Oversee commercial marketing strategy and lead generation
  • Align marketing initiatives with sales objectives
  • Support brand positioning and market visibility
  • Promote brand, customer service and customer retention.

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of commercial management principles, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation.
  • Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and cold chain operations (including cost drivers and SLAs).
  • Financial acumen with ability to interpret P&L statements, margin analysis, and cost structures.
  • Understanding of service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and performance-based contracts.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning processes.
  • Awareness of compliance requirements, contractual risk management, and governance practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to close and renew contracts effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with data-driven decision making.
  • Commercial acumen with a clear focus on revenue growth and profitability.
  • Effective stakeholder management across Operations, Finance, HR, and external clients.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Qualification:
  • Bachelors degree in a related field.
  • An ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is preferred.

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in commercial, business development, or account management roles.
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts, negotiating contracts, and delivering revenue growth.
  • Experience in pricing strategy, margin management, and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in high-growth, fast-paced operational environments.
  • Exposure to large-scale client implementations and contract mobilization is an advantage.

  • Driving License: UAE light vehicle driving license is required.
