Job Description:
As a Car Rental Sales Agent, you will play a key role in connecting with customers, understanding their transportation needs, and offering tailored rental solutions. You will be responsible for managing inquiries, processing reservations, and providing after-sales support—all while maintaining a strong focus on customer care and satisfaction. In addition to traditional sales responsibilities, candidates with a background in IT or software engineering will have an added advantage, as our operations incorporate advanced technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with potential customers through various channels (in-person, phone, email) to promote rental services and convert inquiries into bookings.
Process reservations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and offering follow-up support.
Collaborate with the operations and technical teams to leverage our software platforms for an enhanced customer experience.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
Maintain detailed and accurate customer records and sales reports.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and company offerings to provide expert advice to customers.
Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma is required; a degree in Business, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
Experience: Prior experience in sales, customer service, or the car rental industry is an asset.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with digital sales tools and a willingness to engage with new software solutions. An IT or software engineering background is considered a strong plus.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex information to a diverse audience.
Customer Care: Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and handle inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Sales Acumen: A proven track record in sales or customer engagement, with strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, contributing to team success and continuous improvement.
