Role Description The Collections Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, responsible for leading and optimizing collections operations across assigned portfolios. This role oversees daily collection activities, including setting strategies, allocating accounts, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal policies. The Collections Manager will analyze portfolio trends, use data and analytics to refine recovery tactics, and collaborate with technology, operations, and compliance teams to enhance collection workflows and tools. The role also involves coaching and mentoring collection staff, resolving escalated customer cases, and promoting a customer-centric approach that balances recovery targets with relationship protection. The Collections Manager will contribute to continuous process improvement, reporting, and governance to support sustainable portfolio health and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in collections management and receivables recovery, including setting strategies, monitoring performance, and managing overdue portfolios.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience in portfolio analytics, data-driven decision-making, and use of collection-related dashboards or BI tools.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, workload allocation, and fostering a high-performing, ethical collections culture.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements related to collections and customer data, with the ability to ensure policy adherence and risk mitigation.
  • Customer-centric communication skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and the ability to maintain professional, respectful interactions with customers and clients.
  • Experience working with technology-enabled collection systems, CRM platforms, dialer tools, or AI-supported decision engines, and comfort with process automation.
  • Relevant prior experience in collections, credit risk, or receivables management, preferably within financial services, telecom, fintech, or similar sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to work on-site in Jeddah and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
