Collection Executive – Accounts Receivable
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Collection Executive – Accounts Receivable to manage customer collections, follow up on outstanding payments, and ensure timely recovery of receivables. The role will involve maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal teams, and building professional relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding invoices and overdue payments.
- Contact customers through calls, emails, and other communication channels to ensure timely collections.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities, payment commitments, and outstanding balances.
- Reconcile customer accounts and identify payment discrepancies or unapplied payments.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Finance, and Accounts teams regarding customer accounts and payment issues.
- Prepare and share regular reports on outstanding receivables, collections, and overdue accounts.
- Follow up on payment commitments and escalate long-outstanding or disputed accounts when required.
- Assist in resolving customer queries related to invoices, payments, and account statements.
- Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Support the Accounts Receivable team with other finance-related activities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, credit control, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and meet collection targets and deadlines.
- Experience in the UAE and knowledge of local business practices will be an advantage.
Pay: AED2,000.00 – AED3,000.00 per month
