Your Job
Under the direction of the Operation Manager and the Cold End Manager, you will manage lower line personnel and processes, meeting set targets and customer requirements.
Our Team
The Cold End Manager will manage dotted line rotational shift manpower and processes in collaboration with hot end, quality, warehouse, and supply chain departments to ensure a safe working environment and meet customer expectations.
What You Will Do
Ensure and maintain a safe working environment for people within your departments. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Continuously monitor, assess risks, and implement measures to mitigate those risks while adopting Koch’s safety vision and risk philosophy.
Consistently monitor the implementation of plant guidance and procedures.
Directly coach and supervise Cold End supervisors.
Monitor employee performance, coach, and provide performance reviews as per PBM guidelines.
Arrange cut schedules and ensure glass is cut into proper sizes and finished products are packed within Guardian standards.
Oversee quality to meet customer expectations.
Drive continuous department process improvements and transformations.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
Ability to supervise in a people-oriented environment; prior experience in a demanding position with challenging assignments in a busy work environment is preferred.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong appraisal and interviewing skills; technical orientation is preferred.
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience in glass manufacturing or similar background is preferred.
