Purpose

  You will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding market reach, working closely with the sales team. This position is essential for analyzing revenue, profit, and demand related to the hotel’s room and event space inventory.

Your responsibilities will include developing revenue strategies, forecasting, and managing rates for all Bab Al Nojoum Properties.

Experience:

Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Revenue Management within the hospitality or related industry, with proven success in driving revenue growth and market strategy. Proficiency in using Booking Engines, Channel Managers, PMS (Property Management Systems), and Rate Managers to optimize

inventory management

, pricing strategies, and distribution channels. Strong understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting. Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles, with a focus on

Duties

, and Responsibilities   Revenue Analysis and Forecasting  Analyze revenue, profit, and demand related to the hotel’s room and function space inventory. Prepare analysis of progress against budget, projections, and forecasts. Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets for room and banqueting. Accurately generate, process, and update Revenue Management reports, serving as the primary source for reporting and analytical needs for the management team.  

Sales Strategy and Implementation  Implement sales strategy action plans and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies. Prepare sales strategy meetings with critiques, findings, and recommendations, ensuring effective implementation of discussed strategies and action plans. Prepare and lead the weekly Sales Strategy Meeting for all BAN properties. Act as a demand expert for the Business Evaluation and

Inventory Management

functions. Ensure rates, packages, eChannels, and resort sales strategy information are accurately entered into inventory systems.  

Revenue Management and

Optimization

 Use analytical tools and systems to maximize total hotel revenue and profit. Assist in managing room inventory to maximize room revenue and ensure information accuracy while improving reservation system automation. Assist with system maintenance, including managing hurdles, monitoring forecasted demand, updating group forecasting, and running daily system checks.  Business Development and Opportunity Exploration  Explore business opportunities to drive profit, create client value, and encourage
