Position: Cluster Director of Rooms – starting Q4 2026
This is a cluster leadership role overseeing rooms operations across two 5 star properties ensuring consistency and excellence across both hotels. We are seeking a visionary and goal‑oriented Director of Rooms to join our team. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Rooms Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Rooms Division, ensuring the highest standards of service and operational excellence
- Oversee and optimize housekeeping and front office operations, including reception, concierge, and bell/valet services
- Manage functions to maintain presentation throughout the property
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive positive reviews
- Analyze key performance metrics and financial data to make informed decisions and improve departmental efficiency
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences across all touchpoints
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Manage departmental budgets, control expenses, and optimize revenue generation
- Stay abreast of industry trends and local tourism developments to maintain the property’s competitive edge
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Rooms Division management within hotels or resorts
- Proven track record of improving guest satisfaction scores and operational efficiency
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop staff
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in hotel management software
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- In‑depth knowledge of hospitality standards and best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving service excellence
