Job Summary:
The Cloud Solution Architect-Multi-Cloud will be responsible for solution architecture, consulting, software development, integration, and business process enhancements related to multi-cloud environments. And leading the presales function by managing a team, developing cloud solution strategies, and driving business growth. This role involves engaging with customers, validating technical feasibility, overseeing proposal development, identifying strategic partnerships, and ensuring presales operations align with the company’s commercial objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage the cloud presales team, ensuring high performance and alignment with company objectives.
Develop and implement cloud presales strategies to support business growth and market positioning.
Identify and capitalize on emerging trends in cloud services to maintain a competitive edge.
Drive collaboration between sales, technology, and product teams to enhance customer experience and solution offerings.
Act as the primary point of contact for technical and commercial discussions with customers.
Oversee the validation of sales opportunities from a technical and business feasibility perspective.
Support the sales team in positioning cloud solutions to potential customers.
Ensure optimal customer engagement and satisfaction throughout the presales cycle.
Direct the preparation of technical feasibility studies, leveraging internal and external expertise.
Manage the identification and evaluation of technology partners and vendors for specialized solutions.
Approve and oversee the creation of comprehensive technical and financial proposals.
Lead the business case development process, ensuring alignment with financial and strategic objectives.
Track and manage proposal updates in collaboration with the sales team.
Oversee the initiation of awarded projects and ensure a seamless handover to delivery teams.
Lead and facilitate kick-off meetings for strategic cloud solution implementations.
Develop and implement structured training and awareness programs for the sales and presales teams.
Supervise proof of concepts (PoCs) and field trials to validate cloud solutions before deployment.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of presales activities.
Drive continuous improvement in presales operations through data-driven insights.
Ensure the development of periodic performance reports, including hot deals and sales performance analysis.
Collaborate with marketing teams to influence new product development based on market demand.
Identify and highlight problems and provide support when needed for corrective action implementation.
Provide & develop reports in an effective and efficient manner.
Maintain a historic record of all documents, data, statements related to the function.
Provide support in related assignments and project as stipulated by management when needed.
Report any issues that may be of risk to the business, operations, systems or employees or any issues related to information security to Enterprise Risk and Information Security team.
Support the Enterprise Risk and Information Security team in the risk mitigation process.
Act as a focal point between staff and head of related division to enhance internal communication.
Motivate staff, assist in conducting the performance and conduct guidance on training programs to maximize employees’ performance.
