House of Narma is seeking an experienced Pattern Maker and Sample Machinist to join our Dubai atelier. The ideal candidate will have a refined technical sensibility and deep understanding of luxury garment construction, capable of translating complex design ideas into precise, beautifully balanced patterns.
Responsibilities
Develop accurate manual patterns for both womenswear and menswear, from designer sketches or draped forms.
Execute toiles and samples with couture-level precision and finishing.
Conduct pattern grading and size development, ensuring consistency and proportion across the range.
Lead fittings and perform technical adjustments with speed and accuracy.
Work closely with the design team to engineer garments that retain their creative integrity while meeting technical feasibility.
Maintain an organized archive of patterns, samples, and fit notes.
