Job Purpose:

Provide End users will all Desktop related technical support. Including connectivity and application clients.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Ensure PCs are equipped with NBK standard operating systems & Software.

Ensure PCs are configured as per NBK Security Policies, and equipped with NBK standard Security tools.

Ensure users connectivity to NBK LAN/WAN.

Evaluate and remediate al PCs vulnerabilities within SLA.

Liaise with 3rd party vendors to assess and remediate their products security findings.

Study and test new software applications and check the relevance and feasibility of installing them on bank’s infrastructure.

Liaises with end users of the bank in order to understand their system requirements:

Understand Client issues.

Try to find the most efficient solution.

Document the analysis.

Amend the necessary parameters, if applicable, or translate user requests into programs and reports.

Assumes technical support functions:

Log user requests for support.

Provide information and assistance to internal users.

Document system anomalies.

Contact and follow up with Misys, Head Office and any other vendor whenever a problem emerges.

Qualification & Experience

University Graduate in CS or MIS

Three to Five years minimum computing experience, with preference to financial institutions.

Knowledge of PC’s and applications (hardware & software, particularly Window 2000/2003, MS Office, Email)

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Take initiative with good communications skills

Creative in determining solutions to technology advances

Arab speaker preferable but not essential.
