Facilities Management Background
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff.
- Prepare duty rosters, work schedules, and staff assignments.
- Monitor cleaning standards and conduct regular inspections of assigned areas.
- Train new cleaners on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with relevant departments for repairs.
- Manage attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters of cleaning staff.
- Ensure proper use, storage, and handling of chemicals and cleaning products.
- Respond promptly to client complaints and service requests.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of cleaning personnel when required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facility management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, reporting).
