Role Description
The Cleaning Staff role is a full-time, on-site position based at Keglu Bakery in Riyadh. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment in all bakery areas, including production spaces, storage rooms, customer areas, and restrooms. Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, waste disposal, cleaning equipment exteriors, and ensuring surfaces meet food safety and hygiene standards. The Cleaning Staff will also perform window and glass cleaning, spot-clean carpets or rugs, and support deep-cleaning routines scheduled by management. The role requires following established cleaning procedures, using cleaning products safely, and collaborating with bakery team members to ensure cleanliness during operating hours.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in commercial cleaning, with experience maintaining cleanliness in food service or retail environments.
- Ability to perform window cleaning and glass polishing to keep customer-facing areas clear and presentable.
- Experience with house or home cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and surface sanitizing.
- Basic skills in carpet and rug care, including spot cleaning and routine maintenance.
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices, or willingness to learn and follow bakery-specific protocols.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout a full shift.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow checklists and instructions with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills in English, prior experience in a bakery, café, or hospitality setting is an advantage.
