Position: Cleaner Cum Supporting staff
Job Responsibilities
Sweeping and mopping the floor using soap and water or with anti-septic cleansers on a daily basis.
Daily cleaning of toiletries, wash basins, and other utensils using soap and water or with anti-septic.
Keep antiseptic cleansers, soaps, rugs, sponges, dusters, mops, and brooms in the proper place after use. Avoid leaving them anywhere in the pharmacy premises.
Cleaning of glass doors, walls, and display boards on a weekly basis.
Cleaning the sales counter and computers, including keyboards, preferably every morning.
General cleaning of all shelves at least once a month.
Collect used papers, plastics, old torn rugs, and related items; dispose of the same on a daily basis.
Daily dusting and arranging of stocks/products to their appropriate places, and work hand in hand with the Assistant Pharmacist in merchandising and displaying items on shelves.
Keep pharmacy bags, brown envelopes, and waste bags in their proper place; also refill them at the appropriate time.
Be keen on the arrangement of stocks with regards to their expiry date sequence when dusting or cleaning the shelves.
Call the pharmacist or pharmacy assistant’s attention if any products with short expiry, unreported damage, faded, or expired items are found on the shelves while dusting/arranging.
Actively participate in decorating the pharmacy, changing the display, and distributing flyers to customers and nearby places during promotion periods; willingness to do work as may be assigned if necessary.
Wear assigned company uniform with good grooming habits.
Mobile/telephone usage is strictly prohibited in the pharmacy during duty hours.
Preparing and serving tea/coffee to pharmacy colleagues is strictly prohibited; however, cleaning the pantry and other utensils using soap and water must be taken care of.
Involvement in the personal works of pharmacy colleagues, such as going to the bank, buying groceries, recharge cards, etc., during duty or off-duty time is strictly prohibited.
Working with honorary or paid jobs in the houses of pharmacy colleagues or any other premises during duty or off-duty time is strictly prohibited.
