One of a leading client in Abu Dhabi are looking for dedicated, nurturing, and energetic Classroom Assistant to join their Montessori school. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Lead Montessori Teacher in creating a safe, supportive, and enriching learning environment for children.
Location : Khalifa City,Abu Dhabi
Key Responsibilities:
Support Montessori Curriculum: Assist in the implementation of the Montessori curriculum in accordance with the needs of each child, ensuring a personalized and hands-on learning experience.
Encourage Independent Learning: Foster an environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and solve problems independently.
Supervision and Safety: Ensure the physical safety and well-being of students in the classroom and during outdoor activities.
Behavior Management: Guide students with appropriate behavior management strategies based on Montessori principles, ensuring a peaceful and respectful classroom environment.
Assist with Materials: Prepare, organize, and maintain Montessori learning materials, ensuring they are accessible and in good condition.
Observe and Record Progress: Observe and record children’s development and progress, assisting in preparing reports or communication to parents and teachers.
Collaborate with Lead Teacher: Work closely with the Lead Teacher to assess individual children’s learning and behavior needs and adapt materials or activities accordingly.
Assist with Daily Activities: Aid in daily routines such as snack time, transitions, and any other classroom activities as needed.
Communicate with Parents: Maintain open communication with parents regarding the child’s development and any areas of concern.
Experience: Experience working with preferably in a Montessori or similar educational setting.
Skills:
Understanding of Montessori principles and philosophy.
Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children.
Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
