Role Overview
Responsible for supervising and coordinating civil reinstatement activities related to High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) cable installation works. The role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, efficient execution of site activities, and coordination with internal teams and external authorities to achieve timely project completion.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience,
- OR
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in backfilling and civil reinstatement works for HV & LV cabling projects
- UAE Driving License – Mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate internally with various departments and attend sectional meetings to resolve project-related issues and improve planning and execution.
- Supervise daily activities including backfilling and civil reinstatement works for HV & LV cable projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and KPIs.
- Monitor and support duct sealing works in 132kV substations, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Municipality, Etisalat, contractors, consultants, and developers for smooth project execution.
- Assist in supervising road cutting activities for installation of new ducts.
- Oversee and support the manufacturing and installation of MDP foundations.
- Supervise horticulture removal and reinstatement, including irrigation systems, to facilitate cable laying works.
- Support in obtaining completion certificates from relevant authorities and verify contractor measurements, invoices, and completion reports.
- Conduct regular site inspections, track progress, resolve issues, and submit daily reports to management.
- Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality policies and organizational guidelines.
- Follow Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) standards in line with company safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
