Job Title: Civil Supervisor — MIC CPW permit holder
Location: Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC), Qatar
Industry: Oil & Gas / Industrial
Mandatory Requirement: Active, valid MIC CPW (Consolidated Permit to Work) authorization issued by QatarEnergy
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily civil construction and maintenance activities in MIC common areas per QatarEnergy standards
- Raise, sanction, re-validate, and close out work permits via QatarEnergy e-CPW system
- Coordinate with Operating Authority and client representatives for permit issuance and site clearance
- Supervise civil works: concrete, excavation, structural, and infrastructure activities
- Prepare and review Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Method Statements
- Manage daily manpower deployment, material usage, and progress reporting
- Liaise with HSE, QC, and multi-discipline teams for safe execution
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering
- 7–10 years of civil supervision experience
- Minimum 3 years in Oil & Gas / petrochemical environment
- GCC experience mandatory
Mandatory Certifications:
- Active MIC CPW authorization (QatarEnergy e-CPW system)
- PTW (Permit to Work) Supervisor certification
- H2S & BA certification (preferred)
- Valid QID — transferable visa preferred
Key Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of QatarEnergy / MIC work permit procedures and safety systems
- Ability to read engineering drawings, ITP, and method statements
- Effective communication and team leadership skills
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
