Job Overview

We are now looking for a Designer – Civil & Structural to be a part of Rejlers Team in Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas Projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities and Duties
A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 8-10 years minimum Oil & Gas experience
Act as senior and interact with the project engineering manager for solving technical problems arising during project development
Ability to review and understand Client’s technical documentation and requirements
Must have good knowledge and extensive experience with ADNOC / Shell DEP standards and drafting procedures
Must have good knowledge and understanding of civil, structural and architectural drawings
Able to organize inputs and supervise for preparation of civil, structural and architectural drawings
Must be able to prepare and develop 3D models using licensed software.
Must be able to prepare and develop 2D drawings using licensed software such as but not limited to:
Civil & Structural Standard Drawings (General Notes, Handrail, Ladder, Manhole, Stairways etc.)
Roads & Pavements Details
Develop grading layout drawings
Civil General Arrangement Drawings
Substation Buildings – Architectural Plan, Section, Elevation & Details
Control Building – Architectural Plan, Section, Elevation & Details
Service Building (RDS) – Architectural Plan, Section, Elevation & Details
Equipment & Sheds – Layout & Details
Pipe Rack – Layout & Details
Understand the interface within multi-discipline project
Should take full responsibility of proper and timely execution of project deliverable ensuring full compliance with quality management system and any project specific contractual requirements.
Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines and project management teams.
Coordinate within members of civil structural discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team
Participates in progress review meetings and be aware of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out.
Assumes responsibility for cost, schedule, material quantity and budget control
Takes personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects
Should be able to add value plus/ optimization ideas
Cooperating with other engineering disciplines, customers and subcontractors locally or overseas
Must be able to review and check civil structural design deliverables
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Energy and Environmental objectives.
