Job Title: Pest Control Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. The Pest Control Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and treating pest infestations in residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role requires knowledge of pest management techniques, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections of properties to identify signs of pest activity and potential risks.
Diagnose and assess pest infestations, and recommend appropriate treatment options.
Apply pest control treatments using safe and effective methods and equipment.
Use traps, baits, and pesticides to eliminate pests and prevent future infestations.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments, and customer interactions.
Communicate with clients to educate them on pest prevention and provide recommendations for maintaining a pest-free environment.
Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines related to the handling of chemicals and equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and maintained.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with services provided.
Stay updated on the latest pest control techniques, products, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid pest control certification or license (required in some regions).
Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of pest species, control methods, and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physically capable of performing the job, including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
