A Civil Site Engineer is responsible for supervising construction work on-site and ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervising day-to-day construction activities.
- Checking drawings and ensuring work is carried out as per approved plans.
- Monitoring quality of materials and workmanship.
- Managing labor, subcontractors, and equipment.
- Taking site measurements and preparing progress reports.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and clients.
- Preparing bills, quantity estimates, and documentation.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with surveying equipment.
- Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Demolition related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience in the construction & demolition industry, with at least 3–5 years in the UAE or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, authority approvals.
- Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
- Preferred ADNOC approved
- UAE driving license is preferred.
