Key ResponsibilitiesSite Execution & Coordination
- Execute and supervise daily civil construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, project schedules, and quality requirements.
- Ensure workfront readiness by coordinating manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors before commencement of activities.
- Monitor daily site progress and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and within planned timelines.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Consultants, Clients, and Subcontractors to resolve construction-related issues and maintain uninterrupted site progress.
- Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies or technical conflicts before execution.
- Assist in planning and sequencing construction activities to achieve project milestones.
Technical Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents for accurate site implementation.
- Resolve day-to-day technical issues on site and coordinate with the design and engineering teams when necessary.
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications, contract requirements, UAE building regulations, and applicable codes.
- Coordinate site inspections and obtain consultant approvals for completed works.
- Support the implementation of approved shop drawings and method statements.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and approved inspection procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections to verify workmanship and material quality.
- Monitor corrective actions for non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure.
- Maintain quality records and inspection documentation.
- Prepare and maintain daily work reports, progress updates, inspection records, and site documentation.
- Monitor productivity, manpower utilization, and material consumption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in building construction projects.
- UAE construction experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, finishing works, and general building construction.
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards, authority regulations, and quality requirements.
