Job Title: Civil Site Engineer
Job Summary:
A Civil Site Engineer is responsible for supervising construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules. The role involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project managers to ensure efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Verify measurements, quantities, and material usage for billing purposes.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on-site.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Monitor labor productivity and equipment utilization.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Maintain site records, reports, and documentation.
- Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Valid engineering license/registration (if required by local regulations).
- 2–8 years of experience in construction site supervision (depending on position level).
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
