A Civil Senior Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 12 years of UAE experience leads the bidding process by delivering highly accurate, competitive cost estimates for major infrastructure, commercial, or residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Tender Management: Lead the complete bidding lifecycle for large-scale civil projects.
- Quantity Take-offs: Conduct and verify highly accurate material take-offs from detailed structural and architectural drawings.
- Cost Modeling: Build comprehensive analytical cost models that calculate labor rates, equipment costs, plant allocations, and productivity factors updated to the local market.
- Subcontractor Evaluation: Solicit, analyze, and negotiate vendor quotes to ensure alignment with tender specifications.
- Risk & Value Engineering: Identify financial or technical risks in tender documents and propose value-engineering solutions to optimize project margins.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of civil estimation experience.
- Skills: Advanced mastery of estimation software (such as Candy CCS or CostX), profound knowledge of FIDIC contracts, and an established network of local UAE subcontractors and suppliers.
Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED10,000.00 per month
