A Civil Senior Cost Control Engineer with a minimum of 12 years of UAE experience manages the active project budget, tracking expenditures and executing control measures to prevent cost overruns during project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Budget Baseline Establishment: Formulate the initial approved project cost baseline and cash flow forecasts using award documents.
- Variance Analysis: Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) to track Schedule Variance (SV) and Cost Variance (CV), identifying deviations early.
- Cost Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) and project financial health reports for executive leadership.
- Change Management: Evaluate financial impacts of variation orders (VOs), coordinate claims, and update the project forecast at completion (EAC).
- Invoicing & Progress Verification: Validate subcontractor progress billings and reconcile physical site progress against actual expenditures.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. Professional certification (like RICS or AACE) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in project controls, with a strong history of managing civil projects in the UAE.
- Skills: Expertise in Primavera P6, advanced Excel modeling, EVM methodologies, and financial cost-control software (such as SAP or Oracle).
Pay: AED6,817.42 – AED15,000.00 per month
