Having 5 to 8 years experience as a Estimator in Construction Company
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Cost Estimates: Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects including material, labor, and equipment costs.
Quantity Takeoffs: Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from project drawings, specifications, and other documents.
Data Analysis: Analyze project specifications and blueprints to identify potential cost impacts and provide accurate cost projections.
Software Utilization: Use estimation software and spreadsheet applications (Excel) to develop and manage estimates.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all estimates, including assumptions, clarifications, and exclusions.
Bid Preparation: Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, including gathering and organizing necessary documentation and supporting information.
Vendor Liaison: Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing for materials and services.
Cost Monitoring: Support the monitoring of project costs during execution to ensure adherence to budget and identify potential overruns.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide accurate cost data.
