A leading Construction Project is hiring for QC Civil Inspector – QE Approved
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Must hold a valid, verifiable Qatar Energy (QE) Approval as a QC Civil Inspector.
- Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated civil quality control experience within the GCC, preferably on heavy industrial, oil & gas, or petrochemical projects.
- Must be locally available in Qatar holding a valid QID with a transferable visa / NOC
- Must be available for an immediate face-to-face interview and capable of mobilizing to Ras Laffan without delay.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily QA/QC inspections of all civil construction activities, including earthworks, concrete pouring, rebar installation, formwork, and structural steel erection.
- Ensure all ongoing site work strictly adheres to Qatar Energy (QE) specifications, Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), and the approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
- Coordinate and witness third-party laboratory tests (e.g., soil compaction, concrete cylinder/cube testing, asphalt testing) to verify material compliance.
- Prepare, review, and sign off on Requests for Inspection (RFIs) with client representatives. Maintain accurate daily QA/QC logs and inspection records.
- Identify site deviations, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and actively monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
