A Turf Foreman is responsible for supervising a team of groundskeepers or turf technicians. They assist in planning and executing turf maintenance tasks, monitor equipment, and ensure the proper care of turf areas.
Responsibilities:
Following and implementing the instructions of the project manager and turf supervisor.
Supervising turf management duties, including but not limited to turf maintenance according to programs.
Supervising the spraying of chemicals and fertilizers.
Supervising the proper use of turf maintenance equipment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in turf maintenance or a related role.
Knowledge of turf care equipment and practices.
Leadership and team coordination skills.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Certifications /
Additional Qualifications:
Diploma in Landscape Management or a related field.
Certification in Turfgrass Management.
