We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Estimation Engineer to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, tender pricing, and commercial proposals for civil construction projects. Key
Responsibilities:
Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents. Review quantity take-offs prepared by the Quantity Surveying team. Prepare detailed project cost estimates and competitive tender pricing. Analyze material, labor, equipment, and subcontract costs. Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions. Perform value engineering and recommend cost optimization solutions. Analyze project risks and pricing strategies. Coordinate with Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Engineering, and Project Management teams. Participate in tender clarification meetings when required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Estimation Engineer in contracting companies. Strong knowledge of tendering, estimation, pricing, and cost analysis. Experience in reviewing BOQs and quantity take-offs. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Experience with estimation software such as CostX, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar is an advantage. Excellent analytical, commercial, negotiation, and reporting skills.
