Civil Engineer (Landscape Company) Jobs in Abu Dhabi at PLGC Landscaping LLC
Key Responsibilities
- Site Execution & Grading: Manage site preparation, earthworks, and complex grading/drainage calculations to prevent water accumulation and ensure proper runoff.
- Structural Oversight: Design and supervise the construction of hardscape elements such as retaining walls, paving, water features, and pedestrian pathways.
- Utility Coordination: Integrate irrigation networks, water supply, and electrical/lighting elements with existing civil infrastructure.
- Quality & Compliance: Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship, materials, and installations comply with approved engineering drawings, project specifications, and local municipal regulations.
- Documentation & Submittals: Prepare inspection requests, review contractor submissions, and manage technical documentation (like Material or Inspection Request forms).
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Liaise with landscape architects, project managers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
Core Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Landscape Engineering.
- Experience: Typically 3 to 8+ years of experience in landscape construction, infrastructure, or land development.
- Technical Software: Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MS Project.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of soil mechanics, hydraulics, horticulture basics, and hardscape/softscape integration.
- Local Standards: Deep familiarity with local municipal authority requirements (e.g., Abu Dhabi City Municipality or Dubai Municipality building codes) and site safety protocols.
Pay: AED1.00 – AED2.00 per month
