Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Civil) – 5+ Years Experience
Location: Qatar
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Civil) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in cost estimation, contract management, and project budgeting within civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Manage project budgets and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare tender documents, BOQs, and contracts
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate prices
- Track variations, claims, and project progress
- Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and cost control
- Experience with contract administration and claims
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software
- Good communication and negotiation skills
Preferred:
- Experience in GCC projects (especially Qatar)
- Knowledge of local construction standards and regulations
