Role Summary
You will lead the complete execution of a major infrastructure contract for traffic management at a 24/7 facility, which includes several intersections equipped with traffic lights and controlled access points. The project manager is fully responsible for operational performance, contractual compliance, and the relationship with the main contractor/alliance, as well as managing a field workforce exceeding 30 personnel.
Main Responsibilities:
Operations and Execution
- Manage traffic operations at the facility through the shared intersections and access points, ensuring continuous coverage with three shifts without interruption.
- Supervise and monitor the schedule of incoming traffic and resource planning, aligning with Saudi labor regulations (including work hour restrictions and daytime regulations).
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of traffic control devices (signals, signs, barriers, energy systems, and barriers).
Contractual and Commercial Side
- Manage the scope of the contract and its deliverables and ensure compliance with quantities and terms in strict accordance with the site agreement.
- Prepare change order requests and extension requirements and communicate them to the main contractor, defending them in a reliable manner based on evidence.
Labor Management and Stakeholders
- Represent the company as the primary point of contact with the project manager and the contractor’s execution manager, and the project management office.
- Attend progress meetings and safety committees and ensure approvals are timely for traffic management plans (TMP) and execution methods.
Safety and Health Compliance
- Enforce the project’s specific safety requirements, adhere to traffic management plans, and ensure safe working conditions for personnel in traffic environments.
- Maintain compliance with incident reporting and investigation procedures and implement corrective actions.
Individual Management and Reporting
- Lead the subordinate engineers and site supervisors and manage attendance systems and work compliance and performance evaluation.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports supported by documented evidence and performance indicators.
