Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Draftsman with a proven track record in contracting companies within the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and as-built documentation for building projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate 2D and 3D civil drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software (e.g., Civil 3D, Revit).
- Interpret architectural and structural plans to create civil shop drawings for execution on-site.
- Develop layout drawings, section views, and detailed drawings for foundations, slab works, utilities, roads, and structural elements.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure design intent and accuracy.
- Prepare and revise as-built drawings based on site modifications and redlines.
- Ensure all drawings are compliant with local authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, ADM, RTA, etc.) and company standards.
- Maintain drawing registers, documentation, and proper filing of drawings (soft and hard copies).
- Support site teams by providing updated drawings, resolving discrepancies, and assisting in measurement take-offs when required.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and clients for drawing clarification and approvals.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman in the UAE, particularly in contracting companies.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
- Familiar with UAE construction regulations, authority approval processes, and local drafting standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawing revisions and deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
