Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager to lead and manage large-scale civil infrastructure projects in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with client specifications and local authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all civil construction activities from project initiation to completion.
- Plan, organize, and monitor project schedules, manpower, equipment, and material resources.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and company procedures.
- Review construction drawings, method statements, and project schedules.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management.
- Resolve technical and construction-related issues efficiently.
- Ensure proper coordination between all project stakeholders.
- Manage subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed according to contractual requirements.
- Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities.
- Ensure timely completion of all civil works while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- UPDA certification and PMP certification are preferred.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in roads, earthworks, asphalt works, potable water pipelines, sewer networks, stormwater and drainage systems, utility corridors, precast concrete structures, manholes, utility crossings, traffic diversion works.
- Strong experience in project planning, execution, subcontractor management, and authority coordination.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid Qatar Driving License is preferred.
- Candidates currently available in Qatar with transferable visa/NOC are preferred.
