Position Summary:

The Cinema Manager is responsible for the overall operation, revenue generation, and team leadership at the cinema. This includes ensuring an exceptional customer experience, driving financial performance, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and leading all functional teams. The Cinema Manager plays a hands-on role in both strategic planning and daily execution to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Financial Management:

Manage daily cinema operations in line with Muvi standards and SOPs.

Develop and control operational budgets, forecast revenue, and manage OPEX.

Drive revenue through product and sales initiatives; monitor profitability by screen, service, and product.

Oversee all cash handling processes, voucher usage, and financial reporting.

Customer Experience:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across all service touchpoints.

Resolve customer complaints/escalations within 48 hours and track resolution via Freshdesk.

Maintain visible management presence during showtimes and lead customer interaction.

Analyze feedback and implement action plans for continuous improvement.

People Management & Development:

Lead and motivate a team of managers, supervisors, chefs, and floor staff.

Conduct performance appraisals, implement development plans, and coach team members.

Ensure onboarding and training are completed for all new hires.

Foster a positive, professional work culture aligned with Muvi’s values.

Strategic & Local Marketing Execution:

Implement company strategies and local marketing plans; report on ROI.

Analyze the market, monitor competition, and propose content strategies.

Liaise with mall management and key external stakeholders for promotions and partnerships.

Compliance & Governance:

Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulations (GCAM, VAT, Health & Safety, Municipality, etc.).

Maintain risk and asset registers, conduct regular audits and walk-throughs.

Oversee safety standards, food hygiene, and cleanliness across all areas including VIP and F&B units.

Facility, IT & Stock Control:

Manage cinema appearance and facilities to company standards.

Oversee technical and IT issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.

Control stock levels, wastage, shrinkage, and implement efficient inventory systems.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (mandatory).

3–5 years of experience in a similar leadership role in retail, F&B, hospitality, or entertainment.

Strong financial acumen with knowledge of income statements, budgeting, and cost control.

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; experience with POS or cinema software like VISTA is a plus.

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Must have own transport.
