Job Description:
Chinese Translator – (Chinese ⇄ English)
A leading German manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chinese national for the position of Translator, specializing in Chinese to English translation, to support the company’s operations and facilitate effective communication with international clients and business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
· Translate written documents between Chinese and English accurately and professionally.
· Provide verbal interpretation during meetings, phone calls, and video conferences when required.
· Translate emails, contracts, technical documents, product information, and business correspondence.
· Assist communication between the company and Chinese suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
· Ensure translations maintain the original meaning, tone, and technical accuracy.
· Proofread and edit translated documents for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
· Coordinate with internal departments to support purchasing, sales, logistics, and management.
· Maintain confidentiality of all company documents and communications.
· Support the team with administrative and communication tasks related to Chinese-speaking partners.
· Perform other translation and administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
· Fluent in Chinese and English (spoken and written).
· Previous Experience in the related field as a Translator or Interpreter is preferred.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong proofreading and editing skills with high attention to detail.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Ability to translate technical, commercial, and business documents accurately.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Professional, reliable, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
· Willingness to travel to China to follow the business Corporation.
