Chilled Water Flushing Supervisor – Job Description
Position: Chilled Water Flushing Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Chilled Water Flushing Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing chilled water system flushing, chemical cleaning, passivation, and commissioning support activities. The role ensures that flushing works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise chilled water flushing and cleaning activities on site.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and MEP contractors.
- Prepare flushing method statements, risk assessments, and work schedules.
- Monitor flushing flow rates, pressure, and water quality parameters.
- Ensure proper installation and operation of flushing pumps, filters, hoses, and temporary piping.
- Conduct water sampling and testing during flushing operations.
- Maintain daily reports, flushing records, and test results.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, HVAC standards, and safety requirements.
- Supervise technicians and laborers engaged in flushing activities.
- Coordinate with commissioning teams for system handover.
- Troubleshoot issues related to pumps, valves, strainers, and piping systems.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in chilled water flushing, HVAC commissioning, or water treatment.
- Knowledge of chilled water systems, pumps, valves, and HVAC equipment.
- Familiarity with chemical cleaning and passivation procedures.
- Ability to read P&ID drawings and HVAC layouts.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- UAE/GCC experience preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
