Summary
The Chief Specialist in Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance for power plant will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of aircraft power plant maintenance and engineering to ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft.
Job Responsibility
Develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules for power plant systems.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on power plant maintenance and engineering issues.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manufacturer requirements.
Manage a team of engineers and technicians to carry out maintenance and repair tasks efficiently.
Monitor and analyze performance data to identify trends and potential improvements in power plant systems.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in aircraft power plant systems.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience in aircraft power plant maintenance and engineering, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to aircraft power plant systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
