Our client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO) for opportunities in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or the United Arab Emirates.
Position Summary: The Chief Operations Officer will be responsible for overseeing the company’s operational processes and ensuring that all departments work harmoniously to achieve organizational goals. The COO will collaborate with the executive leadership team to refine strategies that enhance productivity, foster innovation, and drive growth while maintaining a strong emphasis on quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures that align with the company’s goals.
Provide leadership and guidance to all operational departments, ensuring optimal performance.
Oversee daily operations, including production, logistics, supply chain management, and customer service, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and drive continuous improvements.
Collaborate closely with the CEO and other executive team members to forecast operational needs and develop strategies aligned with company objectives.
Foster a culture of excellence and accountability within the organization by promoting effective collaboration across departments.
Analyse operational data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for growth and enhancement.
Manage budgets and resource allocation, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10-15 years of operational leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Proven experience in managing large teams, with a strong emphasis on developing talent and mentorship.
Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a track record of implementing successful operational strategies.
Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and operational best practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
