Position: Chief Operating Officer COO)
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the organisation’s ongoing operations and procedures for the Dubai office. As a key member of the senior management team in Dubai, the COO will report directly to the CEO in Dubai and ensure that operations run smoothly locally and in line with global processes. The goal of the COO will be to secure the day-by-day operations of the business in Dubai and to drive extensive and sustainable growth working closely with local management and the relevant teams within the Group.
Responsibilities :
Operational Strategy and Performance
Design and implement business operations strategies, plans, and procedures
Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of all teams locally
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
Leadership and Management
Manage relationships with partners / vendors
Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics
Write and submit reports to the CEO for Dubai in all matters of importance
Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures
Manage budgets and forecasts to meet the company’s strategic goals
Process Improvement
Spearhead initiatives to optimise and scale operational processes
Identify and implement best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness
Corporate Governance
Ensure company operations comply with legal regulations and internal policies
Maintain and build upon the company’s strong corporate governance framework
Requirements :
Proven experience as COO or relevant role
Outstanding Project Management skills and proven ability to deliver on time and on budget
Understanding of all business functions, roles and responsibilities and how the functions interact
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance / operation metrics
Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities
Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
