Job Description

  • Develop and maintain standards, regulations and inspection systems relating to the expiry dates and effectiveness of medical equipment used in training centers and healthcare facilities. This includes communicating these standards, raising staff awareness, and determining associated penalties in accordance with the Corporation’s approved legislation and policies.
  • Conduct routine and unannounced inspections of ambulance equipment and devices to ensure their operational readiness and compliance with approved technical specifications and regulations relating to ambulance vehicles.
  • Monitor the implementation of routine and unannounced inspection procedures for ambulance equipment and devices to ensure compliance with approved technical specifications and regulations relating to ambulance vehicles.
  • Monitor inspection activities carried out on emergency medical service providers during events held within the Emirate of Dubai to ensure compliance with the Corporation’s approved standards and regulations governing event medical coverage.
  • Monitor and audit the implementation of procedures relating to violations arising from non‑compliance with ambulance service standards and specifications.
  • Provide technical support in the preparation of periodic reports and statistical analyses relating to inspection and monitoring outcomes of ambulance service providers in the Emirate of Dubai, and submit findings to the direct supervisor.
  • Audit the preparation, review and updating of records and databases relating to facilities registered with the Corporation.
  • Audit and review reports concerning inspected facilities, including identified violations, and submit findings and recommendations to the direct supervisor.
  • Audit the issuance of violations and monitor the collection of associated fines and penalties.
  • Identify and recommend best practices in inspection and monitoring activities and submit recommendations for continuous improvement to the direct supervisor.
  • Comply with all information security policies, procedures, operations and programmers, and promptly report any security breaches or suspicious incidents to the direct supervisor.
  • Perform any other duties related to the functions of the section as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • No prior experience is required for holders of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Holders of a Diploma are required to have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the relevant field.
