Job Description:
The Chief Electrical Engineer will lead a team of engineers and designers within projects, ensuring technical integrity and providing engineering services to Worley and its clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of engineers and designers, balancing budget and client expectations.
Closely coordinate with client representatives for successful delivery.
Prepare and check engineering deliverables according to Qatar Energy and Shell DEP Standards.
Deliver electrical engineering services meeting Worley, customer, and statutory requirements on time and within budget.
Initiate, manage, and supervise electrical engineering project requirements.
Perform electrical engineering tasks such as meetings, progress reports, and checking procedures.
Ensure clear project scope and changes comply with projectchange managementprocesses.
Provide assistance during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
Act as the electrical engineering Lead on specific projects if required.
Proactively resolve discrepancies between Worley and its customer’s requirements.
Keep up to date with latest electrical engineering developments and innovations.
Assist junior personnel and communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders.
Identify issues, develop solutions, and ask for assistance when needed.
Requirements:
Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is mandatory; candidates without it must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
Extensive experience in Shell Projects work at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry, especially offshore.
Experience in the infrastructure, oil and gas industry, or power industry.
HSE focus with the team to ensure OHSE requirements.
Competent in MS Office Suite and discipline-specific software, ETAP, CYMECAP.
