Job Title: Chief Accountant
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred
Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) required
Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Skills and Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian financial regulations, IFRS, and US GAAP
Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven leadership abilities and team management experience
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Arabic
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the accounting department’s daily operations, supervising staff accountants and financial analysts
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and forecasts
Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian financial regulations, IFRS, and company policies
Develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures
Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process
Prepare and monitor budgets, conduct financial forecasting, and provide strategic insights
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
Implement and maintain accounting systems and software for efficiency and accuracy
Provide financial guidance to other departments
Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance

Fluency in English and Arabic required
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality
