Chief Accountant Jobs in Dubai at Bexa Assurance Investments L.L.C
We are a startup healthcare organization seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide accurate financial reporting support to management. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on accounting experience in the UAE, preferably within the healthcare industry, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Chief Accountant Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations & Financial Reporting:
Manage full-spectrum accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, monthly payroll preparation, payroll approval coordination, WPS finalization, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports accurately and on time.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare cash flow statements, working capital reports, and account reconciliations.
Provide financial insights, schedules, and analysis to support management decisions.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor expenses and support the implementation of cost-control measures.
Track actual versus budget performance and report variances to management.
Compliance, Tax & Audit:
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, corporate tax requirements, and internal controls.
Handle VAT and corporate tax filings, reconciliations, compliance checks, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure audit requirements are completed on time.
Maintain proper financial documentation, records, and supporting schedules.
Healthcare Revenue & Receivables:
Handle billing coordination, receivables tracking, and collections monitoring.
Requirements:
Preferably with UAE experience in healthcare or FMCG, with strong knowledge of VAT and UAE corporate tax requirements. Candidates who can join immediately and are on a visit visa or cancelled visa are encouraged to apply.
Pay: AED1.00 – AED2.00 per month
