Job Description
Cash Management & Day-to-Day Finance
Verifying daybook
Issuing petty cash & verifying daily cash transactions & reports
Approving online bank transactions
Verifying monthly daybook and cost center allocations
Bank reconciliation with ERP and Excel
Accounts Review & Approvals
Reviewing comparison and LPO approvals
Reviewing intercompany transactions
Reviewing completed project statistics reports
Verifying invoices & work completion reports
Supervising accounts payable and receivable processes
Payroll & Salary Processing
Verifying monthly payroll
Verifying WPS files for salary processing
Verifying payslips for cash salary release
Month-End & Year-End Activities
Verifying month-end closing entries
Year-end closing process and assisting with it
Preparation of monthly management reports and projections
Cash flow analysis
Quarterly project status reports
Audit & Compliance
Coordinate with external auditors and oversee tax filings and compliance
Assist auditors with audit report preparation and support documents
Documentation
Assist CFO in monthly report preparation
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree or professional certifications such as CPA or CMA preferred
Experience of 9 to 15 years in progressive accounting roles, preferably in holding companies, construction, or real estate sectors
Ability to handle large financial figures and proficient in financial statements and balance sheets
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
Strong skills in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP) and advanced Excel
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
Immediate joiner preferred; valid RP and NOC in Qatar required
