Position Overview
:
We are lookingfor a dedicated and experienced Chemistry Teacher for Cycle 2 and 3 students(Grades 612) in reputed school in Al Ain. The ideal candidate willhave a strong background in teaching Chemistry and a passion forinspiring students in the subject. This teacher will be responsiblefor delivering highquality lessons that adhere to the American curriculum and preparing students forboth theoretical and practical aspects of Chemistry.
The role willinvolve guiding students through complex scientific conceptsfostering a curiosity for learning and helping them developcritical thinking and problemsolving skills in the field of Chemistry.
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelors degree in
Education
with Specialisation in Chemistry ORADEK Teaching Diploma Bachelor sdegree
Minimum of2 years of teaching experience in Chemistry in the UAE(preferably within the American Curriculum)
ADEKApproval(required)
Key Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning and Delivery:
Plan and deliver engagingstructured lessons in Chemistry to students in Cycle 2 and 3(Grades 612) covering topics such as atomic structure chemicalreactions periodic table bonding and organicchemistry.
Curriculum Implementation:
Implement the school s Chemistrycurriculum ensuring students are exposed to both theoretical andpractical aspects of thesubject.
Assessments and Monitoring:
Regularly assess students understandingthrough assignments quizzes experiments and exams and provideconstructive feedback to help themimprove.
Laboratory Management:
Supervise and guide students in labexperiments ensuring
safety protocols
are followed and thatstudents are able to apply theoretical knowledge in practicalsettings.
Student Support:
Provide additional help and support to studentswho require assistance with course material either individually orin small groups.
Classroom Management:
Maintain an orderly
inclusive
and safeclassroom environment conducive to learning and scientificinquiry.
Communication
:
Maintain regular
communication
with parents regarding studentsacademic progress performance andbehaviour.
Collaborative Work
:
Work with other Science teachers and school staffto ensure that students are receiving a wellrounded
education
andthat crosscurricular objectives aremet.
Extracurricular
Activities:
Participate in extracurricular activitiesrelated to science such as science clubs school events orfairs.
Professional Development
:
Engage in ongoing professional developmentto stay uptodate with the latest teaching methodologies andscientificadvancements.
Key Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Chemistry
