CHEF DE PARTIE Role
The Chef is responsible for delivering a professional level of service within the kitchen by facilitating the accurate and timely preparation of all food and beverage orders for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery, strictly following the recipes and quality standards set by the Company.
This role involves maintaining a clean, organized, and obstacle-free kitchen environment always, while ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety are upheld. The Chef will actively support the daily operations of the business, embody the Company’s values, and strive to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction through consistency, quality, and teamwork.
Reporting: Senior Chef and Kitchen Head Specific Roles and Responsibilities
General Standards
· Be familiar with general industry standards of preparation and service of both food and beverages
· Maintain professional service levels, strictly following company recipes and quality
· Provide a professional level of service in the preparation of food and beverage items, always in adherence to the strict recipes and quality guidelines of the Company and without compromising the quality or presentation of food
· Have in-depth knowledge of all menu items, together with the ability to discuss the menu, ingredients, and daily or periodical promotions with customers
· Crosstrain in various F&B service functions including dine-in, call centre, and POS usage.
· Consistently maintain a friendly, helpful, and team-oriented attitude.
· Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and uphold food safety and hygiene standards
· Maintain a professional appearance and arrive on time for all shifts.
· Communicate with supervisors regarding breaks and shift transitions.
· Always conduct yourself in a professional and honest manner, as you are an ambassador of the Company and you represent the restaurant to all our guests and the wider community
Specific Duties
· Accurately acknowledge and communicate customers orders to the kitchen team
· Record and monitor food wastage using prescribed documentation.
· Hold a valid Basic Health and Hygiene Certificate and follow best practices in personal hygiene.
· To have full and complete knowledge of the Company’s menu and preparation processes and standards of all menu items
· Demonstrate continuous learning and improvement in skills and techniques.
· Respect and maintain all kitchen equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly.
· Assist in food preparation with strict adherence to presentation and quality standards.
· Follow sanitation procedures to prevent food spoilage and contamination.
· Contribute to food cost control through portion management and minimal wastage.
· Supervise plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal.
· Inform service staff of daily specials and menu changes.
· Modify dishes upon request (e.g., dietary restrictions).
· Monitor food inventory levels and place orders as needed.
· Ensure the kitchen, tools, and work areas meet cleanliness and functionality standards.
· Maintain security standards in collaboration with the Safety & Security team.
· Fulfil all junior-level responsibilities based on business requirements
· Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
· Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies.

Equipment &Maintenance
· To report any equipment failures/problems to the Store Manager, Supervisor or Senior Team member on duty
· Ensure all kitchen tools and machinery are used safely and responsibly
Team & Kitchen Management
· Delegate kitchen duties effectively to junior staff.
· Supervise and assist line cooks during service.
· Hire, train, and oversee the performance of kitchen team members.
· Assist in scheduling and shift planning.
· Provide feedback and foster a productive, respectful kitchen culture.
Self-Learning & Development
· Engage in Training Sessions when required
· Develop detailed product knowledge
· Be fully committed and dedicated to personal development and growth, working toward the achievement of performance targets on agreed periodic basis
Confidentiality & Ethics
· Ensure full compliance with the Company’s Confidentiality policy and Third-Party Non-Solicitation policy which prohibits the sharing or discussion of sensitive information and the earning of fees through third party channels not connected with the Company;
· Protection of the Company at all times in relation to informational databases, IP, secrets and strategy, as well as sensitive information, all of which may not be discussed with any unauthorised person
· Ensure all sensitive client and Company information remains confidential and ensure this culture is built across the Branch
· Ensure any unethical behaviour of any team member is quickly brought to the attention of Senior Management, so that it may be appropriately addressed.
Pre-requisites
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar chef or kitchen role, preferably in a fast-casual or burger concept.
· Excellent communication, team leadership, and multitasking skills.
· High attention to detail, particularly in food quality, presentation, and consistency.
· Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety regulations.
· Willingness and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
· Positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively and maintain a cheerful, respectful demeanour.
· Ability to create and maintain rapport with both customers and colleagues, promoting a professional yet enjoyable work culture.
· Commitment to upholding and promoting the values and objectives of the company at all times.
Character requirements
· Strong verbal communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
· Consistently attentive to detail in execution, plating, and safety standards.
· Ability to thrive under pressure and remain calm in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment.
· Proficient in a range of culinary techniques, particularly grilling, frying, and burger preparation.
· Demonstrated leadership ability, including supervising and mentoring junior staff.
· Excellent time management and task prioritization.
· Familiarity with modern cooking methods, recipe modifications, and dietary preferences.
· Up-to-date understanding of sanitation protocols and local food safety regulations
Pay: AED4,200.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
