Role Description The Chef De Partie role is a full-time, on-site position based in Limassol, Cyprus. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, preparing and presenting dishes to established standards, and ensuring consistency in taste and quality. Day-to-day tasks include organizing mise en place, cooking and plating menu items, coordinating with other kitchen sections, and maintaining strict hygiene and safety practices. The Chef De Partie will assist in training junior team members, contribute to menu development, and monitor stock levels and food costs. Collaboration with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service is essential.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar kitchen role, ideally within a hotel or high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to manage a designated kitchen section, organize workflow, and maintain consistency under pressure.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to support and guide junior kitchen staff.
  • Attention to detail in food presentation and portion control, with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operation.
  • Culinary education or professional training is an advantage; additional certifications in food safety are beneficial.
  • Previous international or Mediterranean cuisine experience in Limassol or similar markets is considered a plus.
