We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef à la Carte to join our kitchen team at Coffee Art Café (The Mall, Ajman). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in preparing high-quality à la carte dishes with consistency, creativity, and attention to detail in a fast-paced café environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook à la carte menu items according to recipes and standards
- Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and served in a timely manner
- Maintain consistency, taste, and quality across all orders
- Manage daily mise en place and kitchen station preparation
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages when needed
- Contribute ideas for menu improvements and seasonal specials
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a hotel in UAE kitchen is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours
- Team player with good communication skills
- Attention to detail and passion for food quality and presentation
